We split our stay in Kauai in half, with our first half here (and second half on north shore). We picked this home in Kekeha simply because of its proximity to Waimea canyon, Polihale and Hanipepe (all of which were very close). But we ended up thoroughly enjoying the property and setting. If you prefer crowding together with other mainlanders during your visit, maybe choose Poipu or Princeville? But we absolutely LOVED our 5 days on the “west side” more immersed with every day locals, including celebrating the 4th of July in the streets and nearby beach in a distinctive Hawaiian fashion. The house itself was VERY comfortable and spacious for our family of 4, including 20 and 17 yr old sons who were able to have their own rooms with large beds. AC in each room also, which is a rarity in Kauai. Great bathrooms (especially master shower), kitchen and laundry facilities, as well as a few beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc.

This house is the perfect getaway. Beautiful home with super comfortable beds, an amazing porch and conveniently located near the beach. Chad was gracious and easy to communicate with. My husband and I had the most relaxing time here and loved how tranquil Kekaha is. Would absolutely come back.

Amazing house in a wonderful community. Attention to detail was impeccable. House was beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully clean, welcoming and well appointed. Our family had such an incredible time here. Mahalo for all.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our selves. The home was is in the perfect locale on the Island. Warm, dry and quite. Plenty of outdoor seating that we never felt crowded. Proper instructions posted for protocol and best practices. Caretakers or management always gave prompt and helpful replies. This was our first ever visit to the Islands and we definitely want to come again.

Hale Anuenue was everything we had hoped for and more. It is such a special space, beautifully appointed and immaculate. The beds and furniture were super comfy and we appreciated having everything we needed provided for us - complete chef's kitchen, fluffy beach towels, terrific beach gear, access to washer and dryer, outdoor grill, A/C when we needed it, flashlight for our evening walks to watch the sunset. It was simply perfect. We loved staying in Kekaha. It was quiet, peaceful, and we felt safe and welcome. The neighbors are lovely people, we also really enjoyed meeting the groundskeeper, Alan. Chad was wonderful with regard to communication before, during, and after our stay, and Keenan was at the ready when we called with a question about the TV. Can't wait to return! Mahalo!

Hands down, the BEST VRBO we've ever stayed in! From the front porch to the ocean view lanai with island fruit trees and shrubs, and everything in between, this luxury home exceeded our entire family's expectations (mom, dad, two teenagers, mother-in-law, and aunt)! We had plenty of room to spread out, but often choose to gather together on the lanai when we weren't out exploring Kauai. It was a super comfortable home, and we loved staying on this side of the island, as it was not crowded at all. We also enjoyed the locals in the neighborhood. We're so glad we spoiled ourselves by choosing Hale Anuenue!
