We had a great experience! Directions 🧭 were great but our flight ✈️ was delayed and we arrived late in the evening and relied on our GPS which did not quite direct us to the correct location. I ended up having to call 📞 Cindy and she was so helpful in guiding us. We were only a couple blocks away and she was able to figure out how to get us to our rental over the phone. We really appreciated her being so kind. Thank you Cindy! 🙏🏽 We rented the back upstairs apartment and once inside we were so happy 😁 with the space and cleanliness. It was perfect. And, although we were in the back apartment, we still had a view of the ocean from the balcony, and we had no problem hearing the ocean waves 🌊. And on a clear night the evening sky ✨ is amazing! Everything we needed was there including beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, beach towels and even insulated bags and ice chest. We had no worries taking our day trips to the beach 🏖 Although the beach across the street is not accessible it is only a short drive to beautiful beaches nearby. Waimea canyon was also a short drive. We would definitely rent again!

What an awesome place to stay for hiking Waimea canyon! Scott's place proved a great launching area for the hikes my wife, daughter and I took in the canyon and Koke'e state park. In between hikes we visited the beaches at Salt Ponds and Poipu. The rooms were perfect for us. My 18year old daughter had essentially her own studio which thrilled her. The property is very clean and well cared for. There's lots of room so you don't feel like you've been crammed into a small condo. And it was nice to have A/C in the summer for the evenings when returning from long hike or hot day at the beach. We sleep better with A/C too. We loved having the beach accessories (chairs, towels, umbrella, etc) for the times we weren't hiking. The chairs while well-used were very functional and worked well; they were Tommy Bahama's I believe. Had to call in for maintenance once and Kevin, the maintenance tech, took care of the issue while we were gone without interrupting our stay. Mahalo Scott and Kevin

A Jem of a place on the west side near Waimea canyon. Scott was very attentive to every detail and met all our needs. Bright and spacious in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. It was lovely!

My mom and I completely enjoyed our stay. Loved the fresh mangos in the backyard. We will want to stay again. Dani Kilian Renate Fuerst

Couldn’t reach the property manager for over 3 hours after getting to the place. no direction or guidance for entry provided by the owner. Didn’t provide the code for laundry either. A terrible experience overall.

We had a lovely stay at Hale Kekaha! The ocean was right across the street and we could catch a glimpse of it from our balcony at any time. Rooms were clean and quiet neighborhood, with exception of the roosters, but you just can't get away from them on the island. Laundry and AC were a huge plus. They even had scuba gear, chairs and other beach gear which made packing light much easier! We spent more time driving being on the West side, but for the price you couldn't beat it! Great stay, would come back again!

Perfect for what we needed. Nice outdoor space. Very close to beach and close drive to lots of fun outdoor activities and some food options!

A nice change from the over-the-top fancy place we stayed at in Kona. Very down to earth and more our style. Clean and functional.

The property was wonderful. Clean, all amenities, relaxing location. Highly recommended.
