The Yosemite Country Cottage, winner of the TripAdvisor/FlipKey Certificate of Excellence award is a charming, custom built home, designed with the traveler in mind. It is conveniently located near Yosemite National Park along scenic Highway 140, approximately 9 miles east of the town of Mariposa. The Country Cottage was completed in Spring 2006.
The managing owners have lived and worked in the Yosemite area for 40 + years. The owner Charles, a professional guide in Yosemite, will be happy to provide you with a special "Place's to Go" Trip Planning Guide to get the most out of your visit upon booking a reservation.
There are 2 nights available in some of the dates in the E-Calendar.

Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, the Country Cottage has comfortable bedrooms that sleep 4-6 all with country quilts, Berber carpeting and adjacent tiled bathrooms. The Master bedroom features a California King size solid oak sleigh bed, Queen bed in second bedroom. Additionally a Queen bed located in Study. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a Country Cottage theme.
The Master bathroom has a separate vanity area and is wheelchair accessible, equipped with assist bars and a tiled roll-in shower with a built-in tiled bench. The second full bathroom has a tub/shower combo with sliding shower doors, sink, and toilet.
The large full amenity Kitchen has new appliances, counter tops and cabinetry. It is fully equipped for the gourmet cook or includes all the conveniences for the vacationing cook. The Yosemite Country Cottage is just the place for families and friends looking for comfort, convenience and charm. The open floor plan is ideal for socializing and relaxing. Sitting atop a hillside on 13 acres, the Country Cottage offers privacy, quiet surroundings and fantastic views. Leave the crowds, traffic and noise behind. The Country Cottage is your ideal vacation home. Baby/child items (crib, highchair, etc..) are available on request.
The highlight of the living room is a large rock wall with a gas fireplace for cozy evenings. Living room furnishings include an entertainment center with a new WiFi enabled 55" smart TV for streaming internet based movies. The fully furnished dining room next to the living room affords easy access to the kitchen.
Outside amenities include a Propane Gas Barbecue and picnic table. A covered porch with a picnic table for outside meals to relax and enjoy views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada foothills.

We do not rent to smokers or vapers. This includes both inside or outside the Cottage or on the property at anytime.
No Pets of any kind anytime.
No sleeping on couch or sofas or making beds with the cushions.
*Cancellation Refund policy is in Rental Agreement.
Minimum age is 25 for reserving the Cottage.
Driveway speed is 10 MPH maximum both ways.
Driveway uphill past Cottage is private and off limits.

There is easy access to two nearby park entrances, Arch Rock Entrance Station along the Wild and Scenic Merced River Canyon, or the South Entrance Station along Highway 41 on the way to the majestic Giant Sequoias
The Historic Gold Town of Mariposa (9 miles) with the California State Mineral Exhibit and surrounding Gold Country with its quaint shops, restaurants, Wine Tasting from local Vineyards and History Museum are great to explore
