Casa Josephina is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 18th century town home ideally located on a quiet street between the public park/garden and Piazza Libertà, the center of activity. It is a short 3-5 minute walk to most everything. The home is comprised of all 3 levels of the property (a rarity) plus 2 terraces and is larger than most town homes offered for rent in Ostuni. The ground level is fully tiled, and includes a bed, a large wardrobe, 1 bathroom, and a washing machine. It was a separate house but now provides a sleeping area and room to store your suitcases and other belongings, providing more room in the living areas. All living areas include double-height exposed stone vaulted ceilings and antique chandeliers. The house is modern, yet romantic. The lounge, with original tile flooring, includes a sofa/chaise, a separate leather chair and entertainment equipment, including flat screen tv, a blue-ray/dvd/cd player and separate stereo system that includes an ipod dock and accommodates most other inputs. The main bedroom includes a large “matrimonial bed” (queen/double size) outfitted with high-quality linens. The 2nd bedroom includes a “piazza e mezza” size bed (1.5 x single) which is great for a single adult or 2 children. It can also accommodate 2 “very cozy” adults. The 2nd bedroom also includes a large dresser and a built-in closet, providing plenty of storage for all guests. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and vanity area, including a cabinet to store all your toiletries. The 2nd level includes a large well-equipped kitchen and dining area, with seating for 6, and star vaulted exposed stone ceilings. The kitchen leads out to the lower level terrace, which includes another dining area and a large umbrella for times when shade is desired. Stairs lead to the upper terrace with a sofa/lounge area, additional seating and spectacular panoramic views of the sea, cathedral and centro storico. The views of the town illuminated in the evening are especially stunning. The terraces are flat and tiled. The property has heating and air conditioning. The stairways are large by Ostuni standards, and unlike many Ostuni properties, most people won't have problems with head-bumping. The stairs may be steep for some. Based on that, the property is not recommended to those that have trouble going up/down flights of stairs. Also based on the stairs/terraces, the house is not recommended for those with toddlers. Casa Josephina is a non-smoking property. Casa Josephina aims to be the best property to let in Ostuni. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.Más

Ostuni is known as The White City (La Citta Bianca) due to its whitewashed buildings reflecting some its Greek and Moorish heritage. It is located on a hilltop approximately 8km from the sea. With nothing but olive groves and grape vines between it and the sea, it offers stunning views of the Adriatic, easy access to local beaches via a 6-10 minute drive, access to most of Puglia and surrounding areas within a 1 hour drive and a very walkable city (15-20 minute walk from one side of the town to the other) with many high-quality/low priced restaurants and bars and historic sights.
