I saw this advertise on tripadvisor and was keen to book. When i made an enquiry I offered a number for Sykes cottages. I called them to be told the price was over twice as much. Of course I ask if this was a fixed price to which I was told it was
Luckily I had seen it on Sykes cottage website for about £10 less so questioned this to be told I could have it for the internet offer. By then I was soo disgusted with their unhand selling techniques I refused to book.
I have use Sykes cottages once before and been disappointed. It a same because I would still like to stay in this cottage but find Sykes cottages completely underhand and disreputable.

Thank you for your review; I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service we offer. To clarify, the pricing provided on Trip Advisor is not always up-to-date which is why they advise that the cost outlined is an estimate and pass your enquiry along to us for us to then contact you direct.
In regards to the booking fee, there is a £6 difference when booking over the phone or on the website, as there is further admin involved when your booking is made via telephone; I can only apologise if you feel this is unfair.
