La Joya Del Mar was an absolute dream! The location is perfect, with a very short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever experienced. The property was gorgeous, and the pool fantastic. We utilized the chef option for dinner, and I highly recommend it! Dinners were absolutely delicious! Fresh guacamole every night, and the authentic Mexican meals made by Mercedes were amazing! The house accommodations were spot on. We had 18 people - 10 adults, and 8 kids. It was perfect! Thank you Martin so much for allowing us to utilize your beautiful villa, and make memories with our friends and families.

JUST WOW! WOW! WOW! This was a family vacation with eight adults and seven children. The house and bedrooms were perfect, The pictures do not do justice to this spectacular property. Martin was great in communicating. Mercedes cooked all of our meals in the house and they were awesome and it was so much easier than cooking ourselves or trying to go out to eat. The pool was fantastic and used a lot by the kids. Just perfect!!

Group of 14 (9 adults and 5 kids ages 2.5-7) loved our time here! We did the all inclusive option and Mercedes the cook was amazing. Food was always fantastic and she was super accommodating with dietary restrictions and various requests for the kids. If we needed something (specific snacks, etc) she would get it the next day for us. Pool is great and ground were beautiful. Had some issues with showers in the house but they took care of it immediately which was great - team was super responsive. We were a bit disappointed by the beach as there was so much seaweed it wasn't swimmable but that hopefully is just temporary. There was one side of the beach that was super fun to explore with the kids with rocks and little tide pools and we saw turtles at night laying eggs, which was cool. You are right next door to the Iberostar all inclusive (you share the beach with them) so we did buy some day passes so we could use the water park and slides for the kids - this was also great for a few rainy days. We all had a fantastic time overall and would recommend!

This place was even better than the photos. Look at all the reviews from before and they on point. We hired the Chef and Mercedes was with us all weekend creating the most amazing meals we have ever had. It was so great to have food brought in and prepared to let us focus on spending time together before we all move away from each other. We spent most of our time either in the pool, hanging in the hammocks, or on the back porch enjoying the large tables while eating. There are multiple sitting areas around the property. We found ourselves sitting in the back middle area for morning coffee, in front of the first villa in the late evening laughing at the comfy outdoor furniture. We felt safe in this area and the suggestions from Martin for transportation and tequila tasting made this trip even just a little bet better. This is an amazing experience.

Our experience here was wonderful. The dinners prepared by our chef were magnificent and a true highlight of our trip. Martin was kind to communicate with and allowed us to delay our trip when circumstances for our group changed with a small surcharge to account for the change in pricing seasonally. They shopped for us before the trip and it was an easy drive into Puerto Morelos to pick up extra things we needed. The grounds were beautiful and the pool and walk to the ocean were both stunning. We were visited by a sweet cat, the groundskeeper’s sweet dog, a small money, some coatimundis, and many beautiful birds. The space was huge and very comfortable for our group of 12. Would stay again!

Beautiful paradise! Everything about our stay was fantastic. Any help or problems that we had were resolved quickly. Isaiah and Martin were great to work with.

Great place for a large group. We usually do Ocean front but decided to change it up a little. Glad we did. Great beach with snorkeling a block away plus the benefit of a jungle retreat. Warm pool, exceptional landscaping, sheltered from the wind and sun. The pool is a holdiday on its own. The owner Martin is very quick to communicate, very knowledgeable and seems to have everything you could need stored on site. Also make sure to take advantage of the meal plans. The ladies are awesome cooks, you won't regret it.

Communication with Martin was very responsive throughout the process. Chef serive was awesome very accommodating. You can only imagine trying to please 18 guests, some with special dietary needs. The ladies were awesome. Very much worth the expense. To accommodate all of our 18 guest I didnt realize it would be in 2 separate villas. Not an issue at all. Beautiful grounds. Good security. Not the most pleasant walk to the beach, but well worth the walk. Some minor repairs are in need, but really didn't really affect our awesome vacation! Thank you Martin and your awesome staff. I would very much recommend this property for a large group. A very good deal of cost and location.

Our stay at the Villa was amazing. The villa was beautiful and well equipped with everything you need for a family vacation. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous with lots of green and colorful flora! Martin was very attentive and was available for whatever we needed. He hosted our wedding reception and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it to be. It was picture perfect! The food was provided by Master Chef Michele Mustiere and his wife, the wedding cake. All devine. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The neighborhood is quiet and the street to get to the villa feels so private. Excellent getaway. You won’t regret it!
