The Villa was ideal in a great location. The owners were friendly, welcoming and had valuable advice on staying in Barbados. They could not do enough for us. The Villa was larger than the average inside and out the pool being larger than the average plunge pool. Kids loved it. Clean, nicely furnished, tidy garden, well looked after inside and out. 1 minute walk from Heywoods white sandy beach almost deserted most days. Warm shallow sea great for swimming and snorkelling with abundant colourful fish. 5 minutes walk to Speightstown bus station and a further minute to shops, supermarket and sea front restaurants with local and European menus. The local Sol garage is open 24hrs for essentials and ATM. We visited in August, the rainy season, because of school holidays. 10 minutes of rain every other day is nothing, compared to the UK in autumn, especially with temperatures averaging 30 degrees C, we hardly noticed. We will be back.
